Weapons, explosives seized at Sydney home

A cache of weapons including crossbows, throwing knives, brass knuckles and an explosive device have been seized from a northern Sydney home with a 44-year-old man due to face court.
Following the man's arrest on Sydney's north shore on Wednesday, police executed a search warrant at his Frenchs Forest home where a stash of weapons also including sling shots, laser pointers and a dart gun were allegedly discovered, police said.
The man has been remanded in custody and is due to face Manly Local Court on Thursday charged with 13 offences.
