Waving woman plunges two storeys

A woman who was waving goodbye to a friend has plunged two-storeys from a western Sydney balcony.

The 26-year-old was farewelling a male friend on Wednesday night when she fell two-storeys from a Lidcombe apartment, police said.

Her friend came to the rescue and drove her to Auburn hospital, where she is in a stable condition with reported spinal injuries.
