Water search after drowning report in NSW

Emergency services are scouring waters on the outskirts of Dubbo in NSW's central west region following reports a teenage swimmer may have drowned.
Police and ambulance officers were called to Bungle Gumby Road just before 3pm on Monday after receiving word a 16-year-old swimmer had submerged under the water and failed to resurface.
The rescue operation continues in the Macquarie River, with the young man not yet found.
