Volunteer NSW firey charged with arson

A volunteer firefighter has been charged with deliberately lighting bushfires in NSW's west.
Police said the 46-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in Wellington, and that a number of items were seized in a search of his home.
He's accused of lighting two fires on bushland in the Wellington area, one in December and one on Sunday.

He was refused bail and is expected to appear on Wednesday at Dubbo Local Court.
