Vehicle slams into Sydney restaurant

An elderly driver and his passenger have had a lucky escape after emerging uninjured after his 4WD crashed into a restaurant in North Ryde.

Staff and customers were removed from the restaurant as a precaution shortly after the crash which occurred about 8.30pm Friday on Delhi Road.

No one was injured.
