Up to 50 youths involved in large brawl at busy intersection in Parramatta
Up to 50 youths have been involved in a huge street brawl during peak hour at a busy intersection at Parramatta in Sydney's west.
Police were called to the intersection of Macquarie and O'Connell streets about 5.10pm yesterday after reports of a large fight.
"Police immediately attended and spoke to a number of teenage males before dispersing the crowd," NSW Police said in a statement.
"None of the teens present at the scene appeared to be injured.
"Witness reports suggest dozens of teens were at the location, however it is not clear how many were directly involved in the fight."
Mobile phone footage taken of the brawl shows the melee spilling onto the road and in between stopped traffic as punches are thrown.
Police are investigating the fight.
