Two teenagers taken to hospital after suspected drug overdoses at Groovin the Moo music festival in Maitland

A 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy have been taken to hospital after suffering suspected drug overdoses at the NSW leg of the Groovin the Moo music festival in Maitland.
Paramedics were called to attend to the two patients at the Maitland Showgrounds between 2.30pm and 3.00pm today.
The girl was found unconscious and was transported to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.
The boy was taken to Maitland Hospital by road.
Today’s event is the first leg of the regional festival’s run for 2016.
It will travel to Canberra tomorrow before moving on to Oakbank in South Australia, Bendigo, Townsville and Bunbury.
Among the artists playing at the festival are electronica artist Alison Wonderland, rockers Boy & Bear and US rapper Danny Brown.
