Two pedestrians hit on Sydney roads

Two men are in hospital after being hit by cars in different parts of Sydney.

One man, believed to be in his 60s, was struck by a taxi at the intersection of York and Erskine Streets in the CBD just after midnight on Saturday.

He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital with minor injuries.

The other man, 23, was hit by a car just after 10.30pm on Friday in the western Sydney suburb of Rhodes at the intersection of Concord Road and Mary Street.

Police say he suffered a broken leg and minor lacerations and is in a stable condition at Westmead Hospital.
