Two men sought over Sydney armed robbery

Two men armed with knives are being sought in relation to a hold-up at a supermarket in inner Sydney.

A 20-year-old shop assistant was behind the counter of the Glebe Point Road store on Thursday night when the two armed men ran in, threatened him and demanded cash, police say.

The robbers ran towards Toxteth Road with a sum of money.

The two men are described as Caucasian, about 180-185cm tall, wearing black hooded jumpers, dark pants and with their faces covered with scarves.
