Two men charged with stabbing murder of George Garmo

Two men have been charged with the murder of 20-year-old George Garmo who was stabbed to death in Sydney earlier this year.

Mr Garmo was found dead in the driveway of a house on Garnet Street in Bossley Park on February 14.

At the time of his death friends paid tribute to Mr Garmo on social media.

"A brother got murdered last night. A very close brother," Rich le wrote on Facebook.

"How many brothers fell victim to the streets. Rest in peace young brother."

Yesterday detectives from Strike Force Levick arrested a 21-year-old man in Bossley Park and a 19-year-old man in Edensor Park and took them both to Green Valley Police Station.

The 21-year-old man was charged with murder, wound a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and owner fail to disclose details of driver/passenger.

The 19-year-old was also charged with murder, wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, driver fail to disclose details of drive/passenger as well as intimidating a witness.

Both men were refused bail to appear in Liverpool Local Court later today.
