A 34-year-old man has been shot in the arm and another man has suffered cuts during an apparently targeted home invasion in Sydney's southwest.
Police say two men armed with a machete and a handgun entered the home in Liverpool in the early hours of Thursday morning.
They threatened and assaulted two men inside, before stealing personal items and fleeing the scene in a sedan.
