Two men have died in separate road accidents in NSW after their vehicles smashed into trees.

A 54-year-old man who was driving a ute died at the scene of a northern NSW crash, which happened on Tuesday morning in Baryulgil, in the Clarence Valley.

His death comes just two days after a 45-year-old man from Urana in the Riverina veered off the road near Boree Creek and smashed his ute into a tree.
