Two charged over Western Sydney shooting

A second man has been charged after an alleged domestic-related shooting in Sydney's west earlier in the week.

Police say they were called to Alcoomie St, Villawood around 9.30pm on Wednesday, where they found a 32-year-old man with a single gunshot to his arm.

A 33-year-old was charged on Thursday with discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and a 23-year-old was charged on Friday with shooting with intent to murder.

Police say they believe the shooting was a domestic incident and not related to organised criminal activity.

The first man to be charged is due in Campbelltown Local Court in March and the second is due at Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
