Two men have been charged over an alleged aggravated break and enter at a western Sydney home where a man suffered a suspected broken arm.

Police say two men aged 29 and 37 were inside a home at Macquarie Fields on Sunday evening when three men known to them appeared at the front door and forced entry before two of them threatened and assaulted the occupants.

Police were called and three men were arrested in the driveway.

The 29-year-old occupant of the home was taken to Liverpool Hospital with a suspected broken arm and cuts and bruises, while the 37-year-old occupant was uninjured.

A 28-year-old man has been charged with common assault and aggravated break and enter with intent in company while a 36-year-old man has been charged with intimidation and aggravated enter dwelling with intent to inflict actual bodily harm.

Both were refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Monday.

A 30-year-old man was released pending further inquiries.
