Two charged for NSW car-jacking

Two men have been charged after dragging a women from her parked car before crashing it into a power pole on the NSW Central coast.

The duo, aged 30 and 24, approached the car at an Ourimbah shopping centre on Monday night, smashing the window and pulling the 51-year-old woman from the vehicle, police say.

A short time later officers found the car crashed into a power pole at Berkeley Vale.

Both men were taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries and an injured ankle, before they were taken to Wyong police station where they were charged.

The woman received minor injuries, police said.

Investigations found the men were allegedly involved in a separate car crash on the Pacific Highway at Ourimbah earlier that evening.

Both men were refused bail and will appear in court on Tuesday.
