Two charged after Sydney cyclist attack

Two men have been arrested after a cyclist was attacked while riding his bike through a central Sydney park.

The 35-year-old man was riding through Surry Hills on Thursday evening when two men attacked him, punching and kicking him a number of times, police say.

He was taken to hospital with a suspected broken nose and other injuries.

A 33-year-old Leichhardt man and a 27-year-old Surry Hills man were arrested nearby, and have each been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company.
