Two bashed, car stolen in home invasion

Two men have been injured during a violent home invasion in Sydney's west.

The men told police they were in a unit in Jamisontown when two strangers reportedly armed with knives forced their way in.

The intruders threatened the residents and assaulted them before making off with a car.

The two residents were treated at hospital for cuts to their face and head.
