Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has pledged to expand a port and airport in NSW's far south coast if elected.
The $44 million Port of Eden expansion and $5.6 million upgrade of Merimbula Airport has been promised with combined federal and state funding in a bid to boost tourism numbers and grow the local economy.
"These vital investments will create jobs, open new markets and expand opportunities on the far south coast," Mr Turnbull said in a statement on Monday.
