Truckie trapped after Sydney crash

Firefighters are working to rescue a driver trapped inside his tip truck in southwest Sydney.

The man became trapped on Canterbury Road in Campsie at about 7.25am Monday after his truck smashed into a power pole.

An ambulance is en route to the crash.

Significant traffic delays are expected, with Canterbury Road closed to westbound traffic.
