Trio attack man in Sydney's west

A 20-year-old has been bashed by three men on a busy intersection in Sydney's west.

Police say the man was walking along Victoria Road in Parramatta about 11.20pm on Monday night when the trio called out to him from a licensed venue.

Soon afterward, the man was punched to the ground at the intersection of Victoria Road and Brabyn Street and hit and kicked.

The three men then left the scene.

The man was taken to Westmead Hospital with cuts and grazes to his face.
