Third man charged over Sydney gunfight

Three men have now been charged over a fatal Sydney industrial estate shooting.

Safwan Charbaji, 32, died in the daylight gunfight at Condell Park on Saturday and another man, 35, is in a serious condition on life support.

Charbaji was shot in the head and chest through the windscreen of a car, which was then used to drive him to hospital.

The other injured man is believed to have been driven to hospital separately.

Police arrested two men, both 22, who were allegedly travelling in the car with Charbaji and charged them with concealing a serious offence.

The were released on bail to reappear in court on April 28.

A third man, 26, was later charged with the same offence after handing himself into police on Monday night.

Police will allege he was one of the drivers in the shooting.

The 26-year-old was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court later on Tuesday.
