Third man charged over bodybuilder murder
A third man accused of murdering Sydney bodybuilder Hedi Ayoub earlier this year has been arrested in the city's southwest.
Mr Ayoub was shot in a Punchbowl park in broad daylight on June 29.
Police were looking for three men seen running away as the 22-year-old lay dying under a tree.
Homicide detectives arrested a 24-year-old man outside a home in Lakemba on Wednesday morning and he was charged with murder.
The man was refused bail and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court later on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old is the third man to be charged over the shooting murder after a 22-year-old Lakemba man was arrested at Sydney airport last week.
Another 22-year-old man, from Wiley Park, was charged over Mr Ayoub's murder in August.
Both men's charges are currently before the courts, police say.
