Terror gun accused wants charge dropped

A Sydney man who counter-terrorism police allege supplied a gun to a man connected to Curtis Cheng's muder has applied to have the charge dropped

Masood Zakaria, 22, was in court on Tuesday as a new lawyer applied for a charge of supplying a pistol to Talal Alameddine to be permanently stayed, court documents show.

Police allege Zakaria supplied Alameddine with a gun on October 6, 2015 - four days after a 15-year-old murdered NSW Police employee Curtis Cheng with a gun that had passed through Alameddine's hands.
