Teen driver dies in NSW head-on collision

A teenager is dead following a two-car crash in the NSW Hunter region.
The 17-year-old was driving along the New England Highway at Ravensworth just before 2pm on Friday when his car collided head-on with a semi-trailer.
Paramedics treated the teenager but he died at the scene.

His female passenger was also treated for minor injuries.
The truck driver was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
