Sydney woman charged over stabbing

A woman has been charged over an alleged stabbing during a Christmas Day domestic incident in Sydney's west.
Police arrived at a unit Werrington at about 11.30pm to find a 28-year-old woman with minor injuries from an alleged assault. She was treated by paramedics at the scene.
Police then went to a home in Emerton and found a 34-year-old man with a cut to his left forearm. He was taken to Nepean Hospital but has since left.

The woman has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and has been granted bail to appear in Penrith Local Court on January 12.
