Sydney sinkhole forces evacuation
AAP
More than a dozen people have been forced from their southern Sydney homes by a sinkhole about half the size of a tennis court.
Six townhouses have been evacuated at Illawong after the three-metre-deep hole formed in a backyard on Monday afternoon.
Fourteen other townhouses in the group appear to be safe, police say.
