Sydney siege remembered at NYE fireworks

Sydney siege victims Tori Johnson and Katrina Dawson will be remembered as part of the city's New Year's Eve celebration.

Lord Mayor Clover Moore says a floral display will appear on the pylons of the harbour bridge three times during the fireworks to pay homage to the "young and talented pair".

There will be three sets of fireworks to herald 2015, at 9pm, 10.40pm and midnight.

And in what's believed to be a world first, specially created drones will be used to beam live footage of the fireworks.
