Sydney man shot but details a mystery
AAP
Detectives have been left clueless after a Sydney man shot in the leg sent them on an apparent wild goose chase.
The 23-year-old managed to get himself to Liverpool Hospital about 5.30pm on Tuesday and was treated for his injury, which was not life-threatening.
Police were notified but when officers were dispatched to where they were told the shooting happened in Lovoni Street at Cabramatta, they were unable to find any evidence to support the man's claim.
