Sydney man's shooting remains unsolved

More than three years after Sydney debt collector Vasko Boskovski was gunned down at his home, no one has been charged with his murder.

At an inquest into Mr Boskovski's death on Wednesday, NSW Coroner Mary Jerram referred the case back to the NSW Police homicide squad.

Ms Jerram concluded Mr Boskovski died on July 30, 2013, of multiple gunshot wounds "fired by a person or persons unknown".

The father-of-two and director of debt collection and security firm Elite Group Solutions was gunned down after answering his door at Earlwood in Sydney's southwest.

He later died at St George Hospital.

Mr Boskovski's business partner Joseph Antoun was killed in similar circumstances five months later, leading to speculation the killings were linked to a business feud.

Police have previously ruled out any links between Mr Boskovski's murder and the gunning down of teenage Comanchero associate Bassil Hijazi in nearby Bexley on the same night.
