Sydney man charged with indecency on 6yo

A 19-year-old man has been charged after allegedly committing an act of indecency in front of a 6-year-old boy in a public bathroom in Sydney's west.

Police say the boy ran off to his family after the incident in the bathroom of a shopping centre in South Penrith on Thursday afternoon.

The man was arrested on Friday and charged with commit act of indecency with victim under 10 years.

He was refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
