Sydney man charged over firearms and bomb

A Sydney man has been charged by the Joint Counter Terrorism Team over the alleged possession of firearms and a home-made bomb.
The 41-year-old was arrested on Tuesday and remains in police custody. He is due to face Burwood Local Court on Wednesday.
Police say two rifles and an explosive device were found in a stolen car in Strathfield South in February following reports of a suspicious vehicle.
