Sydney house hit in 'drunk driver' crash

A house and two cars have been badly damaged after an alleged drink-driver lost control of his car in Sydney's southwest.

It's alleged the 19-year-old man hit a parked car before mounting a gutter and smashing into a Blair Athol house early on Sunday.

Police say there was major damage to both vehicles and structural damage to a garage, which had to be shored up by firefighters.

The driver escaped with minor injuries and was taken to Campbelltown Polcie Station where he allegedly recorded a positive breath test reading of 0.179.
