Sydney hotel served second closure order
AAP
A hotel in Sydney's inner-west has been dealt a second closure order in just over a month due to ongoing concerns about drug abuse and intoxicated patrons.
The Imperial Hotel in Erskineville was served the 72-hour closure order, which will prevent it from opening over the weekend, at 7pm on Friday.
It comes after the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing slapped the establishment with a similar closure order in June after authorities observed bar staff "openly consuming illicit drugs" and numerous drug-affected and intoxicated party-goers.
