Sydney hair salon fire deemed suspicious
AAP
A fire which destroyed a hairdressing salon in Sydney's west is being treated as suspicious, police say.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze which spread to a neighbouring newsagency and caused the evacuation of six residents from units above the salon on Marion street in Harris Park on Tuesday.
The road is currently closed and traffic is being diverted as police and fire investigators look into the cause of the fire.
