Sydney drivers urged to avoid Greenacre as large factory fire is extinguished
Commuters in Sydney’s south-west are being advised of traffic delays as crews work to extinguish a large factory fire.
About 3.30am today police and emergency services responded to the fire on Rosedale Avenue, Greenacre.
Several crews are now working to extinguish the blaze.
There have been no reports of injury and no evacuation.
Fire fighting operations will impact local traffic with diversions in place at the following intersections:
- Brunker Road and Anzac Street;
- Brunker Road and Claremont Avenue; and
- Hume Highway and Beresford Avenue
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while operations take place and allow plenty of time for travel.
