The condition of a baby who was crushed under a family 4WD in Sydney has improved.
The 13-month-old girl was hit by a car in the driveway of an Engadine home in the city's south on Sunday.
She was airlifted to Westmead's Children's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The girl's father had just finished washing the 4WD and was moving it back to the garage when he felt the girl under the front wheel, a CareFlight spokesman said.
Her condition remains stable and has been downgraded from serious on Monday.
