Sydney airport arrest over stolen cars

A man has been arrested on arrival at Sydney airport after 25 stolen vehicles were found at a property in the city's southwest.

Some of the vehicles found at Leppington last Thursday had been partially stripped, had their engines removed or were severely damaged.

Police also found three three-tonne trucks, a prime mover and other stolen property including an electronic tablet and a bicycle.

A man, 48, was arrested at the airport on Monday and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court charged with 22 counts of recklessly dealing with proceeds of crime.
