Suspicious fire destroys Sydney house

A fire that's destroyed a vacant house in Sydney's west is being treated as suspicious.

The Bidwill home, owned by Housing NSW, was well alight when emergency services arrived at about 10.45pm on Saturday.

Police say specialist fire investigators and police forensic officers are investigating but until the cause is confirmed, the fire is being treated as suspicious.
