Stephanie Scott murder accused have cases adjourned

The twin brothers charged over the murder of NSW school teacher Stephanie Scott just days before her wedding remain in custody after a brief court appearance this morning.

Vincent Stanford, 24, is charged with sexually assaulting and murdering the bride-to-be on April 5 in the NSW town of Leeton.

His twin, Marcus, has been charged with being an accessory after the fact, with police alleging Vincent sent him items belonging to Ms Scott after her death.

Ms Scott's burnt body was discovered in bushland around 70km from Leeton on April 10.

Vincent Stanford was a cleaner at Leeton High School where Ms Scott worked.

The Stanford brother's case was heard in Griffith Local Court this morning but both men declined to appear via video link.

Each man's charges are separate but both cases were adjourned until November.

Ms Scott's parents and fiancée were in court this morning but did not show emotion during the proceedings.

Neither of the accused have sought bail and have remained in custody since their arrests.

They have not entered a plea.
