A female solicitor has been charged over the shooting death of a western Sydney man with alleged bikie links, with police alleging she destroyed evidence in connection to the murder.

Craig Anderson, 51, was shot dead outside his Doonside property on May 27, with six men subsequently charged over the murder.

Police on Thursday morning arrested a 28-year-old woman outside a home in Blacktown, and charged her with being an accessory after the fact to murder and tampering with evidence.

The solicitor has been refused bail to appear in Blacktown Local Court later on Thursday.

Detective Superintendent Scott Cook in May told reporters Mr Anderson was known to police and had connections to bikie gangs.

Investigators believe the killing relates to an ongoing dispute between individuals and not to "bikie club business".
