Shots fired at two Sydney houses

Shots have been fired at two homes in Sydney.

Police were called to a Regents Park house in southwest Sydney about 12.55am on Wednesday after reports shots were fired into the property and a car parked out the front.

No one was reported injured in the shooting, which police suspect may have been targeted.

Twenty minutes later officers were called to a house in Ryde, in the city's northwest, following reports shots were fired into the home and a car out the front.

The seven people inside were uninjured. Police are expected to investigate whether the shootings are linked.
