Shots fired at Sydney family home

A gun has been fired at a Sydney home where a woman, her 15-year-old son and husband were inside.

No one was injured at the Edmondson Park home when at least two shots were fired at it on Wednesday night.

"One hit the front door of the home and another went through the front window," police said.

A crime scene has been established and forensic specialists are investigating.

Earlier on Wednesday night, two men were shot at while sitting in a parked car in Sydney's west.

Police believe the attack at Revesby may be linked to bikies.
