Shot up cars found in Sydney's south

Shots have been fired near a park in Sydney's south with police finding four cars in the area with damage consistent with gun shots.

NSW police responded to reports of gun fire at 9.20pm on Sunday on Wollongong Road at Arncliffe, near Arncliffe Park, finding the vehicles with damage that appeared to be caused by bullets.

A crime scene has been established and police advise motorists that Wollongong Road is closed between Mitchell Street and Broe Avenue around Arncliffe Park while investigations are conducted.
