Serial thief nabbed in Sydney's north

An alleged serial thief who targeted homes on Sydney's north shore over a six-week spree has been charged with 26 offences.

Police arrested the 19-year-old man in West Pymble overnight, seizing 80 items, most believed to be stolen property.

He is alleged to have stolen large amounts of property from cars and homes in the Ku-ring-gai and Ryde areas and has been refused bail and will face Hornsby Local Court on Thursday.
