A second person has died after a P-plate driver ploughed into pedestrians in Sydney’s inner-west last month.

The white ute was being driven by a 22-year-old on Victoria Road, Rozelle on December 14 when it mounted the kerb, hitting a man and a woman.

The 47-year-old woman died at the scene, while the 49-year-old man died in hospital on New Year’s Eve.
