Search for missing surfer called off at Sydney beach
9NEWS
A search has been called off after emergency services failed to find evidence of a surfer reported missing at a Sydney beach.
The Westpac Life Saver assisted NSW water police and surf lifesavers this afternoon after they were told a surfer had disappeared at Dee Why.
However, after an extensive search, the emergency services stood down after failing to find any evidence of the surfer or a board.
