Manhunt for Sydney stabbing suspect

A man remains on the run after stabbing an elderly man at an inner Sydney hotel.

The attacker stabbed the 82-year-old man at the hotel in Alexandria before fleeing about 3pm on Saturday.

The victim was found with a stab wound to his chest and taken to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he is in a serious condition.

The attacker and victim are believed to know each other and anyone with information is urged to contact police.
