Search for man missing after jumping from jetty on NSW coast resumes

Police are set to resume a large-scale search for a man seen jumping off a jetty on the NSW north coast.

They say the 40-50-year-old failed to surface after he was spotted jumping into the water off Jordan Esplanade in Coffs Harbour on Sunday morning.

A search involving marine officers and PolAir was called off late on Sunday evening because of poor visibility.

It will resume at first light on Monday morning.
