Search for man missing off NSW coast
AAP
Emergency workers have been searching for a man who went missing after he jumped off a headland into waters off the NSW mid-north coast.
Police say the man jumped into the water at Boomerang Beach, near Forster, on Sunday morning but failed to resurface.
An extensive search involving the police airwing, police rescue, water police, and the Westpac rescue helicopter, among others, had to be suspended at 7.30pm due to poor light.
