Scam 'Federal Court' emails target public

Scam emails purportedly sent by Australia's Federal Court have targeted a large number of potential victims.

The emails, supposedly sent on behalf of the Federal Circuit Court, include subpoenas to appear in court and apparent links to court addresses and case information.

"Anyone receiving such an email should not click on any of the links as they may contain viruses or malware," a Federal Court spokesman said, warning the emails are fraudulent.
